Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model from the United States. His fame was sparked by his role on Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in 20 feature films, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled the disease ever since. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health as well as stunted development. Because he was a child of the poverty of his home, he longed to attain financial stability. Interviewer stated that as the way he lived was so shabby throughout his life, I needed financial stability to feel in control. In a conversation the actor also discusses his growing up. However, he acknowledges that directors don't have me as a character. He would like to be a father himself and be able to spend much less time and energy to his profession and more time with his children.
